I was born in 1946 just outside of Utica, New York. I started playing music at an early age and traveled all over the continental United States, Canada, and Alaska. I did a one man show, playing keyboards, guitar, and several other instruments. I also played with several famous entertainers, such as Buddy Rich, Tiny Tim, Sergio Franchi, and others. Never far from an easel and brushes, I painted for my own enjoyment. I left the hectic musician’s life of being on the road for the IT Industry to build and program computers, but retired in 2004. At the coaxing of my wife and friends, I then pursued my dream of becoming a professional artist on a full time basis, which has proven to be exceptionally rewarding for me. I sell my work at dog shows, on the web, and through area businesses.

I specialize in animal portraitures that are done in either acrylics, or oils. However, I am also proficient in the use of other mediums, such as pencils, watercolors, and charcoals. My goal is to provide my clients with custom works of art that are not only beautiful, but are affordable as well.
